Each runner starts the 4.167 mile loop at the top of every hour. Finish inside the hour and you can continue. Miss the cut-off and your race ends.

  • Last person standing format.
  • Custom PWR Endure medal for participants.
  • Ticketing handled externally through BookitZone.

Backyard rules

The bell waits for nobody.

The format is simple: complete the loop, recover with whatever time is left, then be back inside the starting corral before the next bell.

Warning bells

3 min2 min1 minStart
  • Complete one 4.167 mile / 6.706 km loop every hour.
  • A new lap starts exactly on the hour. Finish in 43 minutes and you get 17 minutes rest. Finish in 59:59 and you get 1 second rest.
  • All runners must be inside the starting corral before the start bell of each lap. No late starts are permitted.
  • Missing the start of any lap means disqualification / DNF.
  • After lap 30, remaining runners race one final head-to-head lap for the £500 prize. First through the finish line wins.
  • No pacing from crew, friends, cyclists or anyone not actively participating in the race.
  • Crew support is only permitted in the designated camp/support area between laps.
  • Stay on the marked route. Cutting the course means immediate DNF.
